Nothing makes it big story. But you’ve got to pen a powerful screenplay in whatever genres you sway through. When it comes to ‘Acchamundu Acchamundu’, I just got to witness few accomplished endeavors such as best technical outputs. Why should I leave the chance of appreciating our own Arun Vaidyanathan pioneering with a technical revolution with ‘Red One Camera…?’
Naturally, it’s a toughest task in differentiating ourselves as a film buff and critic. As an ardent buff, I have everything liked about this film. But when it comes to critically analyzing it things are different.
Not alone technical aspects would make a film successful. There should be whole lot of powerful narration in screenplay and other narrative vistas. Arun Vaidyanathan seems to have failed deliberately on these aspects.
Maybe, the teasers for this film could’ve raised your anticipations for a thriller movie. But when you’re right on the seats, there’s nothing such thing called ‘Thriller’. According to me, it’s an ‘art film’ or what you say a ‘Raw Drama’. More than performers, its properties that play more roles. Be it Coffee Cups, Plants, Knives, Painting Kits… they’re more prevalent throughout the films. The film looks so dull with monotonous dialogues and of course there are few enjoyable ones too…

Senthil (Prasanna) and his family with wife (Sneha) and small daughter Rithika (Akshaya) have no worries in life. But an appalling situation occurs through Robinson (John Shea) who appears, a professional painter as well a psychotic person sexually abusing children. As he comes over here, the person eyes on the small girl Rithika.
Next what it follows is the turbulent ventures of the innocent family…
Prasanna tries to do something naturally, but looks caricatured. Ditto to Sneha and Hollywood actor John Shea is off some specialty. Little girl Akshaya does justice to her role.
Musical score by Karthik Raja should’ve been better and Cinematography in ‘Red One Camera’ is best.
The film has little possibilities of making big in box office and it’s sure to win some awards for dedicating this film to victimized children.
Verdict: Just watch it once.
