3 Idiots remake has been the all time headlines in Kollywood during recent times and now there is confirmed news that Vijay, Silambarasan and Madhavan will be playing the lead roles in this remake. The film is produced by Gemini Films Productions at a bigger budget and Shankar will direct both the Telugu and Tamil version.

The Telugu version will have Mahesh Babu in lead role with the same other actors repeating their characters. This time, A.R. Rahman will not work with Shankar due to his busy schedules with Bollywood projects and World tour. Harris Jayaraj will be the music director and other technicians of the film will be decided shortly.

The actress Ileana, Thamannah and Shriya Charan share the commonalities of being wonderful actresses introduced by the same filmmaker. He is none other than Jyothi Krishna and his heroines have now gone ahead making superb career in both Tamil and Telugu film industries. On the same league, Jyothi Krishna brings a new heroine to Kollywood named Preethi Bhandari. The actress is Delhi based model and makes her debut with the film Ooh La La La. Most of the special celebrities, who came upon the stage for releasing the music of this film said that Preethi Bhandari will be sooner as greater as those heroines. This will be the debut film of Jyothi Krishna as an actor and he has handled story, screenplay and direction.

Thirumalai Internationals is producing the second film titled Madhikettan Saalai and is a different title and unusual concept. The first film produced by this banner is Tholapesi En and the same actor Adarsh is playing the lead role. The film is about an youngsters with no worries in life and a love in his life changes his course of his life. Sara has been signed to play the female lead role. Singamuthu, Muthukalai, Kadhal Thandapani and few other actors are playing prominent characters in this movie.

G. Pattu Rajan is handling story, screenplay and dialogues apart from handling direction and he has assisted Panneer Selva of Renigunta as assistant director.. S. Taj is the cameraman and Suresh Urs is the editor. Viveka, J Francis Kriba are writing lyrics and Srikanth Deva is scoring music.

Bombshell Namitha couldn’t steal the spotlights in the recent times due to her bulk sized figure. The actress had shed down some weight before few months and all of sudden has exceeded the weight in Kilos. The actress was recently present in Hyderabad for the 50th day celebration of Telugu Movie ‘Simha’ and the fashion police started beating her over the reviews of her oversized figure. As a result the producers and filmmakers have backed off from offering her roles in their films.

But our Kalainyar Karunanidhi has been kind enough to offer her a role in his upcoming film Ilainyan. There were some reports that the actress is playing the negative role in this film and it was just like some rumors. Notwithstanding all these calls the actress’ sources reveal that she had voluntarily requested Kalainyar to offer that role.

Sathyaraj has done an important role in Muriyadi that was actually performed by filmmaker-actor Srinivasan (director of Malayalam version of Kuselan) in original version of Malayalam Passenger. The film had superstar Dhilip and Mamta Mohandas in lead roles while the Tamil Muriyadi will have Ganesh Venkataram of Unnai Pol Oruvan fame and Ramya Nambeesan, who made her debut in Tamil Cinema with Raman Thediya Seethai. The film is produced by Pushpa Kanthaswamy under the banner of Kavithalaya Productions and is directed by Selvah, whose previous film Naan Avanillai – 2 did good business at box office. The film is getting ready for release by September and music launch is expected to be held in August. Sakthi Krishna has written dialogues and D Imman has scored music for this film and Bala Murugan has handled cinematography.
