Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin is promoting the film Madharasapattinam so powerfully in all mediums and has helped the film to do well at box office. On the likelihood, Shankar’s production Ananthapurathu Veedu has collected the production cost. The trade analysts have mentioned that Shankar is now safe as he has got back the money he had invested in this project.

Madharasapattinam will take some more time to gain the profit as the amount invested in the project is more, which goes around Rs.20Crores. Meanwhile Ananthapurathu Veedu is not even half of its production value.

That is the smartest way of Shankar promoting the film as almost all his productions have been off low budget movies. But his previous film Eeram was made at the cost of Rs.7Crores approximately and could not cover up the cost.

Lots of criticisms and Asin was very often pulled onto the headlines for her sudden visit to Colombo. She flew down to Colombo along with Salman Khan for the Hindi remake of READY. Sooner the members of Tamil Film Production Council and Nadigar Sangam had raised their voices saying that the films of Asin will be banned in South India.

Filmmakers Hari and Lingusamy were very much present to release the music of ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ this morning at Sathyam Cinemas. Later the other filmmakers: Vishnuvardhan and Vetrimaaran of ‘Polladhavan’ fame released the film’s trailer.

Much before starting off with the event, the film’s trailer and a song IRAGAI POLE was screened. Producer K.E. Gnyanavel Rajan of Studio Green Productions addressed the crowd with his speech followed by the film’s crew and other celebrities appreciating filmmaker Susindhran’s ‘Vennila Kabadi Kulu’ and were sure that he would have portrayed Karthi so powerfully.

Yuvan Shankar Raja said that he could not sleep for 2 days after watching the double positive of this film as it is so powerful and the climax is incredulously magnificent.

The album has only four songs: VA VA NILVA PUDICHI, IRAGAI POLE, ORU MAALAI NERAM and DEVAM ILLAI.

Young superstar Silambarasan is now rapidly shooting for his upcoming film Vaanam that is a remake of Telugu movie VEDHAM. The shooting is happening at various parts of Chennai as Simbhu will complete the shooting by July 25 and fly down to Canada for PODA PODI shooting along with Varalakshmi. The Lingusamy’s film that is supposed to feature Silambarasan in lead role seems to have gone across a small crisis.

There are rumors that Silambarasan has walked out of the project due to some difference of opinions. Nothing seems to be officially released from any ends as Lingusamy says that he cannot speak on this for the moment and he will make the announcements shortly as possible.

Silambarasan is expected to play a cop’s role in this film that has Thamannah Bhatia starring opposite him in female lead role.

Ilayathalapathy has an abrupt change over choosing films after her terrific flop of SURA. The film KAVAL KADHAL is a romantic film and VELAYUDHAM is an action packed thriller with lot of commercial elements. The film was launched this morning at Centenary Hall of Madras University. The occasion was very much characterized by extravagance and profusion as hundreds of Vijay’s fans had assembled to attend this occasion.

Special buses and vans were arranged by the Rasigar Madram from various parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala to ensure easy travel towards the event point.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay said that it makes so prestigious for having joined hands with Aascar Ravichandran. Raja assured that the film will surely rock across all centres as it has such an interesting plot. Music director Vijay Anthony got enthralled saying, “I was awestruck soon after Raja narrated the story as each and every scene has interesting twists.”

Genelia D’ Souza and Hansika Motwani were also present for the occasion. A short teaser along with photo trailer was screened during the occasion.
