Possibly, not many filmmakers would have attempted for such a challenging film right on their second film. Kudos to director Scott Stewart! Having started his career as wizardry in visual effects, Scott is well known for his best traits of visual effects in Iron Man, Live Free or Die Hard, Pirates of The Caribbean – At World’s End, Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire, Sin City and many more. He made his debut directorial with a film ‘What We Talk About When We Talk About Love’
IRON MAN, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END; HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE and SIN CITY. His second feature, PRIEST, also stars Paul Bettany and will be released in 2010. He is currently producing PSY-OPS.
Much prior to the release of ‘Garuda Yuddham’ (Legion), he had started working on another fantasy supernatural thriller ‘Priest’ (to be released in 2011). The film again brings back director Scott and actor Bettany together.
Synopsis of ‘Garuda Yuddham’
In the supernatural action thriller Legion, an out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in Mankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity’s only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner and the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany). Legion also stars Dennis Quaid, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Kate Walsh, Adrianne Palicki, Charles S. Dutton and Willa Holland and is directed by Scott Stewart.
LEAD CHARACTERS:
Paul Bettany needs no introduction as he has spelled a fantabulous take on performances throughout his career. Of course, his skillful acts in KNIGHT’S TALE, A BEAUTIFUL MIND, MASTER AND COMMANDER, THE CREATION, THE YOUNG VICTORIA, INKHEART, THE SECRET LIVES OF BEES, IRON MAN, and THE DA VINCI CODE and so on. The entire world is eagerly awaiting the release of IRON MAN -2 that depicts him in out and most powerful role.
Adrianne Palicki takes on the role of Charlie, a waitress that is pregnant with what is supposed to be the savior of humanity.
